I'm Writing Again
· 2 min read
It's been a few years since I last published anything on this blog.
Not because I ran out of things to say. Trust me, I have a lot to share.
Not because I didn't enjoy it either. I loved it.
The problem was always the polishing.
English is not my first language. I enjoyed the writing process. But every post needed to be double checked, triple checked, rewritten — until every sentence matched my standards.
That took hours. Sometimes an entire day.
And it started eating into my actual work time. Running businesses, managing projects, making decisions — that's where I needed to spend my energy.
So I stopped publishing.
But I never stopped writing.
I still write regularly in my Notion notebook. It's how I process what I've been through — the lessons, the mistakes, the wins.
I just kept it all to myself.
AI Changed Everything
With the recent advancements in AI, I finally found a workflow that works for me.
Here's how it goes:
I take notes on my own. Raw thoughts, key lessons, personal experiences — all in my own words. Then I use AI to help me polish those rough notes into readable posts.
The ideas are 100% mine. AI just handles the part that used to slow me down.
Think of it like having a writing partner who's really good at English. I bring the substance. AI helps with the proofreading and flow.
But here's the thing.
I'm not going to use AI as an excuse to pump out generic content. The internet already has enough of that.
Every post still has to meet my editorial standards.
That means:
- Real experiences, not recycled advice.
- Honest takes, not what sounds good.
- Actionable insights, not fluff.
If a post doesn't meet that bar, it doesn't get published. AI or no AI.
What's Next
A lot has happened since my last post. New businesses. New lessons. A new kid. A whole new chapter of life, really.
My plan is to write more regularly now. And this time, nothing's stopping me.
Let's see where this goes!
